Solid 2025 Operational Performance, Elnusa Strengthens Strategic Support For Pertamina's Upstream Oil And Gas Production

PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) continues to reinforce its contribution as part of Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding in supporting upstream oil and gas activities across the Pertamina Group. In line with the Company’s 2026 theme, “Rediscover Technology and Innovation Edge,” Elnusa positions technology and innovation as key enablers in maintaining operational reliability and sustaining national oil and gas production.

This approach is reflected in Elnusa’s solid operational performance throughout 2025, with notable achievements across various service lines. In the geoscience segment, Elnusa successfully completed 596.6 km² of onshore seismic surveys as part of its support for oil and gas exploration and field development activities. In drilling services, Elnusa’s Modular Rig completed the drilling of nine wells in the PHSS working area, demonstrating reliable and efficient operational performance.

Meanwhile, within the well services line, Elnusa conducted production testing on 16,130 wells and operated Hydraulic Workover Units (HWU) on 160 wells to maintain sustainability and enhance production performance. This operational scale reflects Elnusa’s significant role in supporting production activities across various Pertamina Group working areas.

President Director of Elnusa, Litta Ariesca, stated that this performance represents the Company’s continuous efforts to maintain a balance between work volume and execution quality. “As part of Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding, Elnusa holds a strategic responsibility to ensure that every service effectively supports production enhancement. We focus not only on work volume, but also on operational reliability, cost efficiency, and work safety,” said Litta.

Intervention and logging services also demonstrated consistent contributions. Throughout 2025, Elnusa executed Cementing Services (CMT) on 453 wells, Coiled Tubing Services (CTS) on 875 wells, and completed 1,298 wireline logging jobs across multiple working areas. To support production facility integrity, Elnusa also carried out inline inspections on eight pipeline segments within the PHM working area to ensure asset reliability and upstream operational safety.

In addition to work volume achievements, Elnusa recorded positive performance in terms of timeliness and project execution efficiency. The Engineering Blanket Project at PHE Jambi Merang was completed five months ahead of schedule, while the EPC Booster Pump Project was finalized four months earlier than its target. These achievements reflect Elnusa’s commitment to delivering added value through effective and disciplined project management.

This strengthened performance aligns with Elnusa’s focus on leveraging technology and innovation. The implementation of Casing While Drilling has enhanced drilling efficiency, Chronoflux Technology has been utilized as a chemical stimulation solution to improve well productivity, and Dual Velocity String has been applied to support oil and gas production optimization. “The development and utilization of these technologies are part of Elnusa’s efforts to address dynamic field requirements while supporting Pertamina Group’s production enhancement strategy,” Litta added.

Through integrated services ranging from seismic surveys, drilling services, well intervention, engineering, pipeline inspection, to production enhancement, Elnusa consistently contributes to supporting the government’s national oil production target of 1 million barrels of oil per day (BOPD). This role is carried out through close collaboration with all stakeholders within the Pertamina Group.

This commitment underscores Elnusa’s readiness to continuously support the Pertamina Group by providing safe, efficient, and technology-based upstream oil and gas solutions. With the spirit of Rediscover Technology and Innovation Edge, strengthened sustainable capabilities, and the consistent implementation of an operational excellence culture, Elnusa strives to deliver its best contribution in supporting national energy resilience and independence.
