Standby Fire Protection and Shower Units Services
All of our firefighting units are equipped with a twin agent firefighting system. This system is beneficial for standby operations as it is a self sufficient mobile firefighting unit requiring no water supply, therefore, more cost effective for the customer. All units are also equipped with a continuous foam unit for large pumping operations, well control, tank fires, or any other emergency situation.
In 1984, to provide a better service to our customers, Firemaster built a mobile shower unit that was specifically designed to protect personnel and equipment in corrosive situations. We are proud of the fact that Firemaster was the first in the oilfield industry to build a unit of this type.
Due to the volatility and corrosiveness of many fluids being pumped, Firemaster has built combination units which are fully equipped for the safety of all personnel on location. These units are a combination of a complete fire truck and shower unit. The firefighting equipment and shower facilities are two separate compartments and the shower facilities contain a first aid recovery station.
Our firefighters have extensive in-house dry chemical and foam firefighting training. Firemaster's training program is ongoing and we use outside resources such as the Ansul Fire School in Marinette, Wisconsin; University of Texas A&M; University of Reno, Nevada, and Alberta Fire Training School. In order to provide a safe and reliable service to our customers, we feel it is our obligation to continue our training program to develop new technology and techniques. It is our philosophy to protect the people, the property and the environment.
