Suburban Propane Completes ADD Energy Conversion
Flanders, NJ - ADD Systems and Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. have completed the training and conversion of software from Suburban's Retail System to ADD Energy, a project of unprecedented scope. ADD Systems drew upon its 30-plus year of experience for this complex implementation, which was completed earlier this year.
Nearly 1500 users, from 282 Suburban locations were trained, said ADD Systems' Cathie Tourtellot, vice president – projects. ADD Systems taught two 1-week courses prior to the conversion of each site. Suburban then provided on-site support staff at each location for the first two weeks after going live.
ADD Energy is a comprehensive software solution for petroleum and propane marketers. It provides a Windows interface, open data so reports and analysis can be created, and a long list of interfaces with ADD Systems' and third-party software and hardware. Over 5000 users, represented by a total of 150 companies, are running of ADD Energy.
Suburban Propane's Micheal E. Florance, senior manager – new retail ADD Energy Deployment said, "The ADD Energy system is providing us with some very significant new capabilities and will allow us to take advantage of the opportunities that new technology provides. I would like to acknowledge the efforts and contribution that our classroom coordinators and ADD Systems instructors have made over the last few years in preparing our folks for using the ADD Energy system."
