Superior Seismic Data, LoneStar Geophysical Surveys Adds ZLand® System And Fleet Of Inovas AHV-IV Commanders

Edmond, OK /PRNewswire/ - LoneStar Geophysical Surveys has purchased a 4000-node ZLand seismic system from Fairfield-Nodal and has taken delivery of a fleet of the Inova AHV-IV Commanders (PLS-364) Vibroseis machinery all for projects in the USA.
The company tested the ZLand system nodes for environmentally sensitive work in Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado and Montana, and made their purchase decision based on the results they achieved there.
"We have put these nodes to the test in some very challenging environments and been very impressed, both in terms of system performance and the HSE advantages they provide," said LoneStar Geophysical Survey's CEO and President Heath P. Harris . "We have tried many other similar systems, and found ZLand to be the clear choice for us."
Keith Matthews , FairfieldNodal's systems sales director, is pleased with the endorsement. "We can talk all day long about having the best and only true cable-free seismic system out there, but when an important independent contractor like LoneStar Geophysical Surveys says it, that certainly holds more weight," he said.
Gary Bartlett , the regional sales manager for FairfieldNodal added, "We know that Heath takes his HSE responsibilities very seriously, and our ZLand system allows his crews to safely work faster and get quality data with very minimal environmental impact."
(PLS 364) Inova's most recent advances in research and development have introduced cutting-edge enhancements to the hydraulic system and baseplate implemented in the AHV-IV Commander (PLS 364). These enhancements are designed to improve vibrator performance, create better ground coupling, increase fundamental force, and reduce harmonic distortion.
"We wanted to acquire the best product so that we could offer the best result for our E&P clients present and future. These "Inova Commanders" are simply more accurate, they increase energy output, broader bandwidth and reliability in any terrain", said LoneStar Geophysical Survey's CEO and President Heath P. Harris .
