Thern Announces Design Changes For BIG RED TA Air Winches

Winona, MN - Thern, Inc.'s popular line of BIG RED TA Series Air Winches now has more features and options. In direct response to customer input, Thern has revisited the design of their BIG RED TA Series of air winches to improve performance and convenience for operators.

For easier operator control and added flexibility, BIG RED TA air winches now feature a reversible air control valve that may be placed on either side of the winch. Additionally, an extended handle has been added to the line guide to allow operators easier access when the auto disc brake option is installed.

Thern has also added a "neutral" lockout mechanism to the control valve to prevent accidental start-up of the winch while in the neutral setting.

Crossover air plumbing assemblies for automatic brake units now feature improved corrosion resistance for operation in saltwater environments, with a durable epoxy finish on all control network plumbing components, including the brake unit, air valve assemblies and crossover plumbing. All fasteners have also been upgraded to stainless steel construction to further prevent corrosion.
