Tobin Enterprise Land 3.2 Improves Complex Acreage Reporting

New version of the industry leader in land management enhanced by user feedback

Denver, CO - Easing the task of handling complex acreage scenarios in energy land management is just one of many key enhancements of Tobin Enterprise Land (TEL) 3.2, the latest version of the widely used oil and gas software from P2 Energy Solutions.

One of the most important improvements incorporated into TEL 3.2 is the ability to address the increasingly common trend in the exploration and production industry of complex acreage scenarios. When E&P companies acquire multiple leases of varying depths, calculating how much acreage they own can be tricky. "We're seeing this more and more, especially in companies operating in the shale plays," said Saldivia. "Companies are outgrowing their current land management systems due to the fact they can't handle overlapping acreage from multiple leases."

TEL simplifies complex acreage scenarios with quick queries, delivering acreage reports that show a company's true gross, true net, and company net acres. Beyond oil and gas, TEL 3.2 incorporates similar benefits for renewable energy operations such as solar, wind, and geothermal, among others. Some other new features of TEL 3.2 include:

• Individual user configuration to enhance personal interaction with TEL and to manage personal workflows;
• User's choice: enter data in a spreadsheet-style grid or in a form;
• User's choice: turn off functionality that isn't needed;
• Copy a tract to any file;
• One-click to Excel, and;
• The ability to run multiple queries at once.
