Two Important Oil And Gas Simulation Seminars In Houston From CD-adapco

plant

CD-adapco will host two upcoming Oil and Gas seminars in Houston:

1) Engineering Simulation for Marine and Offshore Applications

November 19, 2008
8-9 AM Registration and Continental Breakfast, 9 AM- Noon Seminar, Noon - 1:30 PM Lunch

Featuring Prof. Milovan Peric, world authority on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for Marine Engineering Applications, and other expert presenters.

The seminar will cover the latest methods, software, applications, and benefits of CFD for engineering challenges in critical areas such as seakeeping, sloshing and cryogenic analyses of LNG, LPG ships and offshore equipment, wind and wave loading on offshore platforms, VIV of risers and umbilicals, flaring and ventilation, free-surface simulation via VOF, Dynamic Fluid-Body Interaction (DFBI).

2) Multiphase Flow and Multi-Fidelity Computational Flow Assurance

November 20, 2008
8-9 AM Registration and Continental Breakfast, 9 AM- Noon Seminar, Noon - 1:30 PM Lunch

Featuring Dr. Simon Lo, recognized expert on Multiphase Flow Simulation in CFD, and other expert presenters.

The seminar will cover the latest methods, software, applications and benefits of 3-D multiphase flow and its role in areas such as multi-fidelity computational flow assurance (synergy of 1-D solutions such as SPT Group's OLGA with full 3-D CFD from CD-adapco), subsea equipment thermal validation, and topside equipment simulation (separators, slug catchers, valves, FWKO).

Both seminars are free of charge but you must register here:
