Veritas Exploration Services Formed

N/Ampany%>, the geophysical data acquisition, processing, and analysis firm, has spun off Veritas Exploration Services, a new unit that will be responsible for Veritas's advanced integrated seismic data interpretation and analysis, including reservoir characterization, a new group activity. Tim Wells, President and COO of Veritas DGC Inc. announced that the company's former Vice President of Business Development for Veritas Marine Surveys will be the new unit's President.

Wells described the newly formed organization as complimentary of the parent company's services by providing customers with state-of-the-art interpretation, visualization, and analysis techniques in their exploration and reservoir management efforts.

Veritas Exploration Services will meet the interpretative needs of various Veritas projects in areas such as depth migration, survey planning, and data quality control.
