Vogt Power To Supply Equipment To Texas Power Plants
Danvers, MA - Vogt Power International Inc., located in Louisville, KY, a subsidiary of Babcock Power Inc., based in Danvers, MA, announced recently that it was selected to supply Navasota Energy Partners LP the Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for their Colorado Bend and Quail Run Energy Centers in Wharton, near Houston and Odessa, TX respectively.
Vogt Power will design, engineer, manufacture and deliver four supplementary fired, two pressure level, natural circulation HRSGs with selective catalytic reduction systems, to be installed behind General Electric 7EA gas turbines. Two HRSGs will be supplied for each of the Phase II developments of the Colorado Bend and Quail Run Energy Centers, and when combined with the rotating and balance of plant equipment they will add an additional 275 MWs of electricity generation from each facility. Vogt Power's contract is valued in excess of 30M dollars.
