Wild Well Control To Host WellCONTAINED Open House At Its Montrose Facility During SPE Offshore Europe 2019

Wild Well Control, a Superior Energy Services company and global leader in well control and emergency response services, well control engineering and training, invites the press to attend a WellCONTAINED open house at its Montrose facility during SPE Offshore Europe in Aberdeen on September 5, 2019.

The session will take place between 10:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. A bus will depart from P&J Live at 10:00 a.m. and will return at 2:00 p.m. Wild Well equipment will be on display and engineers and operations personnel will be onsite to discuss response capabilities.

Wild Well, the most experienced primary responder for international well blowouts, will highlight the recently completed expansion of the WellCONTAINED response facility and its expanded capabilities. The open house will include an assembled 15K 18 ¾ inch stack, as well as, the new, regional 10K ¾ inch stack. Shears, dispersant equipment and additional ancillary equipment will also be on display.

WellCONTAINED services includes contingency planning and response from Source Control Emergency Response Planning (SCERP) through field deployment of one of our capping stacks to a subsea uncontrolled well.
