Through the use of the latest web technology, Petris Technology in conjunction with Anadarko Petroleum has developed WINDS Enterprise; a web based application for unprecedented data access and management.

Designed for today's rapidly expanding application base and virtual asset teams. WINDS Enterprise gives new meaning to the term "information collaboration". It is a completely scalable solution that will seamlessly integrate your data no matter where it is stored or what format it is in. It provides database connectivity and enterprise visibility of your data, creating a virtual data warehouse of all your information. The WINDS Enterprise data model can cover any range of data types that your company may use including well information, well logs, seismic data, production data, lease information, mapping data, field and drilling information, document management, and more, all integrated, yet all residing in their original database.

Reports from our application will allow you to determine what data is being accessed and what is not, who accesses it and from where it is accessed. Duplicate copies can be easily determined.

Architecture
WINDS Enterprise uses architecture based on industry standards. Our Meta-data index uses the OpenSpirit nomenclature as well as the POSC and PPDM data models. An Oracle relational database is used to store the Meta-data index. CORBA compliant ORBIX object request broker is used for distributed processing event management. Formida FIRE provides the Geographical Information System.

A tool kit is being developed to allow users to extend both the Meta-data index attributes as well as the attributes to the Data Exchange model.
