Wood Group Light Industrial Turbines Wins Two Siemens Gas Turbine Maintenance Contracts In Italy With Cefla S.C.

Wood Group Light Industrial Turbines Ltd (WGLIT), part of the Gas Turbine Services Division of international energy services company, John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group"), has been awarded two long-term Siemens gas turbine maintenance contracts from Cefla S.C. in Italy.

Under the first contract, awarded at the end of 2006, WGLIT will provide repair, maintenance and diagnostic support over a period of six years for a Siemens Tornado gas turbine, power turbine and controls package located within the Riwal ceramics factory near Maranello, Italy.

The second contract, awarded in January 2007, gives WGLIT responsibility for the provision of annual maintenance for a Siemens Typhoon gas turbine package located within the Oxon Italia S.p.a. chemical works in Mezzana Bigli, near Milan.
